Mini-Implants



 

What are MDI Implants?
The MDI System includes a miniature titanium implant which usually 4 are placed into your jawbone.  

The head of each implant is shaped like ball to retain your denture. 

Small size O rings are custom fitted into the bottom of your denture to snap over the ball-shape miniature implants to stabilize your denture.

 

Advantages over Conventional Dental implants: 

1.    Inexpensive as compared to traditional implants
2.    Minimal invasive surgery - most cases require no incisions, therefore no
           sutures to place.
3.    Minimal pre-existing jaw bone required as implants are miniature in
          diameter hence eliminating the need for extensive pre-operative
          bone graft procedures
4.    The mini implant can be immediately loaded to wear your denture same
          day
5.     Accelerated Healing and minimal post-op pain



FDA Approved:
Currently the MDI implant has been FDA approval for on-going long term stabilization of dentures.  Dr. Zimmerman has been trained to place these implants through the IMTEC Corporation.  To learn more about these implants, click here
