I want to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate your office.  Their is always the atmosphere of the up most professionalism.  I have been fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Z for over 12 years.  I have been to other dentists when I was out of town but always compared them to Dr. Z.  Where else could I have fallen asleep during prolonged dental work.  I have the up most confidence in Rod's abilities as a dentist.

Changed Perception of Dental Visit

It is not very often that a letter is written to extend gratefulness, which is even more of a reason for me to write this.

As you know, I have been coming to you for a couple of years now and have been receiving what I think is extensive dental work.  You are your staff are also aware that I loathe going to the dentist.  But not any more!!  I have been more than ecstatic with the care that I have always been given.  Never once have I felt uneasy about anything when I walk into your office.  I know that I will receive the utmost care and attention.  I have always felt welcome, and it is a great feeling to walk into your office and everyone knows me by name, and I always leave with a smile (well, maybe a half smile depending on how numb my face is).  Thank You so much for all the wonderful work and I continue to look forward to all of my next visits.

This note is to let you know how much you have changed my life's perspective on dentistry. I have always been extremely apprehensive, nervous and afraid of going to the dentist. As a child, I had numerous bad experiences, with lots of pain, fainting, and tears and unhappiness. The dentists and hygienists did not believe me that I have highly sensitive teeth and gums.

I saw your ad in the yellow pages, and your sign on Crown Point Road, "We Cater To Cowards", and thought, "This is the dentist for me!" from the first day, your staff has been gentle, caring and attentive. You understand that a patient's psychological and mental state has as much to do with successful dental treatment as the procedures. You constantly check how I am doing, talk to me with encouragement, and let me know everything before you do it.

You have worked a miracle for me. Even after two root canals, numerous cleanings, several caps and other work, I can honestly say my teeth are beautiful and you have helped me overcome my fear. You and your staff are the greatest!

After Hours Service

I want to thank you for seeing my wife...to relieve the pain that she was in from her root canal.  It was a great relief to me to find a dentist at that time of the day and on that weekend.  I want you to know that I had tried for several hours to find anyone who would look at my wife and you were the only one who responded.  In the business that I am in I am called on at all hours of the night and I can appreciate the effort that it took for you to do what you did.

Dr. Baker saw my wife on the following Tuesday and said that you have done the right things to take care of the problem.  I would like to have you take our family on as patients if it is possible because the kind of care that you give is what I am looking for in a dentist.  This kind of service is not available from my present dentist and he is a personal friend.  Thanks again and I hope to be seeing you soon.
